Cape Breton

Sunset view from campsite at Mackinnons Campground, East Lake, Ainslie, Whycocomagh Nova Scotia.

Followed the boys up from The Mermaid and the Cow Campground in Scotsburn. We are hitting Cape Breton together this week. We had a wonderful trip around the Northumberland Shore this afternoon, the views of Pictou Harbour and St. Georges Bay were breath taking. Internet service up here is terribly slow and aggravating, so it is very difficult to get my posts published and those that actually make it through are requiring intensive labor. Cell Phone is still hit and miss up here. Having a great time....no worries! Scott and David are great! Heading to Meat Cove at the very northern tip of Cape Breton tomorrow. Wish you all could see this in person...it really is beautiful here. Cold....very cold....but beautiful! Wish I could write more and share more photos, but I can't feel my fingers anymore! The wind is like shards of ice blowing off the water. Wicked! Time to crawl in bed! G'nite!

  1. Hard to believe you found phone service that is worse than the service in Kokomo...are you sure you aren't teasing us, giving you the chance to run footloose and fancy free! I'm glad you picked the guys up...cape Breton looks nice, maybe we can go back someday. On the one day of the year its warm there.
