Stayed the night at the L'Auberge Acadienne on the Isle Madame. A nice little group of Islands, on the furthest south shore of Cape Breton, with several nice lighthouses and incredible ocean views.
Drove back over to Pictou and am waiting for the a.m. ferry to Prince Edward Island (PEI). It cost's nothing to get across to PEI, but you are charged coming back across $66+tax per passenger vehicle (which with taxes translates into 100 U.S. dollars when it is all said and done). I may just leave the truck on the island and pay the $17 walk on ferry fee for my return. Just kidding dear!!
